NYC Ambulance Workers Pay Tribute to Volunteer Colorado Paramedic Who Died From Coronavirus

Health workers from Ambulnz’s New York State COVID Response team paid tribute to 66-year-old volunteer paramedic from Colorado, Paul Cary who passed away on Thursday after contracting the coronavirus.

Footage filmed in New York City on Sunday shows health workers paying their respects to Paul Cary, who came to New York City at the end of March and helped transport COVID-19 patients to hospitals for three weeks.

According to reports, Cary’s body was brought to Newark Airport from where it was flown back to Colorado.

According to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, the US remains the worst-hit country, with more than 1,154,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus and more than 67,400 deaths.
