Jared Kushner Gave Saudis OK to Arrest Jamal Khashoggi, Turkey Blackmailed Trump – Report

Jared Kushner, the senior advisor and son-in-law to Donald Trump via his marriage to Ivanka Trump, secretly gave Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed Bin-Salman the go ahead to arrest the murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi new reports indicate.

A whistleblower has come forward to report concerns about a phone call between Donald Trump and Mohammed Bin-Salman and in particular what was said about Jared Kushner during that call. A second whistleblower adds that the original call between Kushner and Bin-Salman was intercepted by Turkish intelligence and used as leverage to ensure that U.S. forces left Northern Syria, allowing Turkey to enact Operation Peace Spring against the Kurdish population.

Jamal Khashoggi, a critic of Mohammed Bin-Salman and the Saudi Arabian regime, was murdered and dismembered by a 15 man Saudi hit-squad at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2 of last year. After the operation was exposed by Turkey, Saudi Arabia was forced to admit responsibility and claimed that the murder was a failed attempt at rendition. These claims are not borne out by secretly recorded audio of the killing.

In November of last year the CIA concluded that Mohammed Bin-Salman had personally ordered the murder of Khashoggi. The conclusion was supported by UN special rapporteur Agnes Callamard.

Despite the conclusions of his own intelligence service, Donald Trump continued to defend Saudi Arabia and Bin-Salman and ignore the position and statements of the CIA.

“I am extremely angry and unhappy… nobody has directly pointed a finger at the future King of Saudi Arabia”

Donald Trump

Trump would go on to reject a request from the United Nations that the FBI probe the murder of Khashoggi, stating that doing so would hurt arms sales to the Kingdom.

For his part, Kushner seemed to have little positive to say about Jamal Khashoggi, dismissing him as a “terrorist” in an off-the-record interview retold in Michael Wolff’s book Siege: Trump Under Fire.

“This guy was the link between certain factions in the royal family and Osama. We know that. A journalist? Come on. This was a terrorist masquerading as a journalist”

Jared Kushner

Jared Kushner is known to have a very close relationship with Mohammed Bin-Salman, with the two known to communicate via WhatsApp. American and Saudi relations are said to have grown increasingly close during the Trump administration, so close in fact that it has been claimed that Kushner was sharing American secrets received from the CIA. This information ended up being discussed in intercepted conversations between members of the Saudi royal family. The leaks are allegedly the reason why Kushner lost his security clearance in 2018, being restored that same summer.

Kushner had his clearance revoked after constant streams of Requests For Information (RFIs) following Donald Trump’s Personal Daily Briefings and other briefings. The RFIs in question were related to places that the Trump family or organisation had business interests or were seeking to invest in the future. These details would then be discussed in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi government is part-owner of a Trump-branded company building in Indonesia that Ivanka Trump also holds a stake in. The agreement to construct the resort was signed just three weeks before the Khashoggi murder.

“The question becomes, how does that influence his dealings with the Saudi government, would he do something that could endanger the family finances? This raises serious national security concerns, when there were already concerns around Kushner security clearance and his dealings with Saudi officials in which there aren’t records of the meetings or talks.”

Kushner’s public financial disclosure report for 2018 filed to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics reveals the existence of intellectual property and initial-related trademarks in Saudi Arabia alongside personal gifts and travel reimbursements.

The allegation, as yet unproven, is that Kushner used his position as Middle East peace envoy to advance the personal business interests of the Trump organisation. Either through carelessness or deliberate malfeasance Kushner and Trump thus set into motion the events that ended in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and the invasion of Syria.

The Democrat-led House Intelligence committee is said to be aware of the allegations against Jared Kushner and plan to probe the issue.
