The body of Guatemalan boy Wilmer Ramirez, who was just two and a half years old when he died in the US city of El Paso, Texas, was buried in his hometown of Olopa on Monday.
Footage show family members holding a vigil for Wilmer at their family home, which is in the eastern Guatemalan state of Chiquimula, near the border with Honduras. His coffin is then carried up a mountain where he is buried.
Wilmer and his mother, who is still in US custody and could not attend the funeral, were being held by US immigration authorities after they crossed over the US-Mexico border into Texas.
He reportedly died of pneumonia and is the youngest of six children to die in US detention since December.
