Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists demonstrated against racism and police brutality in front of the US embassy in London on Saturday. Protesters then marched through the British capital chanting anti-racist slogans.
“A lot of struggle is still going on in the UK. People don’t realise that there is still massive race issues and it’s being completely overlooked. So is good to come out to show, that there is still a lot of change that needs to happen,” said one of protesters.
Activists have held similar protests outside US embassies in several countries since the killing of 46-year-old black man George Floyd at the hands of police in Minneapolis in late May.
