Hundreds of Catalan protesters blocked the motorway between Spain and France at the La Jonquera border point on Monday, a day after parliamentary elections in Spain failed to produce a clear winner.
Footage shows protesters blocking the AP7 highway, stopping traffic in both directions. The protest was reportedly organised by the Tsunami Democratic activist group, which campaigns for Catalan independence.
The autonomous region has been in the grip of mass protests since mid-October after a court handed lengthy prison sentences to Catalan politicians.
