Footage filmed overnight from Wednesday to Thursday appears to show Syrian Army air defence systems intercepting what Syrian state media reported was a drone near Hama airport. Flashes of anti-aircraft fire can be seen lighting up the night sky, as explosions boom in the distance.
Syrian state media reports say the drone was carrying bombs, and had been launched by militants from Nusra Front group.
Ruptly could not independently verify the above state media reports regarding the drone and Nusra Front’s alleged responsibility behind it.
