Retro: Sega Will Launch a Mega Drive/Genesis in September With 40 Games

Sega will release the Mega Drive (Genesis) Mini this coming September with a full 40 classic 1990’s games pre-loaded onto the new console. The console is a smaller and updated version of the 1990s original in the same vein as Nintendo’s immensely popular NES and SNES Mini.

Sega have already announced the first ten games that will be part of the American Genesis package. While none of the games revealed are surprising, they rank amongst the true classics of the original system.
