The New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison has been transformed into a field hospital, as the state is dealing with a surge of coronavirus cases, Wednesday.
US Senator Cory Booker and New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy can be seen entering the centre for a tour of the 500-bed facility equipped to handle coronavirus patients, who are expected to start arriving on Saturday.
According to Johns Hopkins University, confirmed coronavirus cases passed 424,900 in the United States on Wednesday, with over 47,000 in New Jersey. More than 14,000 people have died in the country after testing positive for the disease.
