Three rescued koala bears have been taken to Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary in Mallacoota, on Monday, to continue with their rehabilitation treatment after Australia’s recent devastating wildfires.
Footage shows the three brave koalas – Vicky, Spinach and Leafy – that have been taken to a special wildlife sanctuary to further treat their injuries after being rescued from the destructive bushfires in Western Australia.
At least 27 people and around half a billion animals have reportedly died since a record-breaking heatwave triggered the fires in September with around 5,000,000 hectares (12,355,269 acres) affected by the wildfires.
